About HSC "Eid Travel"  
The High Speed Catamaran (HSC) M/V "Eid Travel", the first craft operated by the company is the only scheduled ferry service between Hurghada "Red Sea west coast" and Sharm Elsheikh "Sinai Peninsula" .
 
"Eid Travel" is 46 meters in length and consists of two levels. The craft is air –conditioned with temperature control and can carry 308 passengers and 12 private cars, high technology emergency and safety equipment, sufficient life rafts to carry all passengers, and of course the Motion Dampening System MDSTM.
"Eid Travel" surface speed is up to 37 knots making it the fastest ferry on the Red Sea and reducing the crossing time from Hurghada and Sharm ElSheikh to just 90 minutes. Its large glass windows give a panoramic view and the best atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment.
Contracts to build M/V EID TRAVEL were signed between IFF and Kvaerner Fjellstrand of Norway on 1997 and "Eid Travel" was launched in May 1998.
Following its launching "Eid Travel" spent a period of service with VIRTU Ferries of Malta operating between Malta and Sicily "Mediterranean Sea". This period helped Egyptian crews become familiar with High-Speed Craft operation.
The craft arrived to Hurghada on the 13th of October 1998.The first trip of Eid Travel to Sharm was on the 7th of November 1998,while the first, to Duba took place on the 3rd of December that same year.
Since arriving on the Red Sea, Eid Travel has made literally hundred of trips between Hurghada and Duba and between Hurghada and Sharm Elsheikh.
